1. (a) Expatiate on Agricultural extension education and hospitality extension as related
concept with special reference to Agricultural development (5 marks)
(b) Discuss Agricultural Extension Delivery system and Agricultural Extension
Acquisition system as related concepts (5 marks)
(c) Describe the philosophy of extension and expatiate on three (3) key factors of
extension philosophy in Nigeria (5 marks)
(d) The essential constituents that guide the conduct of extension work are
fundamental truths. Itemize five basic principles of Agricultural Extension pointing
out their implications and applications for effective extension work (5 marks)
(e) For extension to be strictly professional depends on several indicators. List and
discuss three (3) responsibilities of Agricultural Extension agents in a developing
economy (5 marks)
2. (a) There are several stages of extension project management. Identify six (6) stages in which
an extension project could be considered to be effective (3 marks)
(b Programme planning in extension has several processes. Itemize and discuss six (6)
systematic processes of planning hospitality programme at the community level (12 marks)
3. (a) Several extension models have been utilized by development interventionists throughout
the World. Identify 5 models that have been used to pursue extension works (5 marks)
(b) Expatiate on the concept of training and visit (T and V) system in extension (2 marks)
(c) There are several features of Training and Visit Extension system. Enumerate five (5)
basic features of T & V system in Nigeria (5marks).
(d) Discuss three (3) weaknesses of T & V extension system (3 marks).
4. (a) Discuss group methods of extension and itemize three (3) merits and demerits of the
method (8 marks)
(b) Explain the concept of extension aids (2 marks)
(c) Discuss five (5) significance of audio visual materials to learning (5 marks)
5. (a) Discuss the concept of extension campaign (5 marks)
(b) Identify five (5) essential principles of extension campaign in any developing country (5
marks)
(c) Discuss the term extension programme and expatiate on three functions of it (5 marks)
6. Write short notes on any five (5) of the followings: (15 marks)
