The Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) actively works to promote fair competition and protect consumers from unfair market practices under the Competition Act No.12 of 2010.
Through the Young Professional Programme (YPP), CAK provides a one-year training experience to engage participants in Competition Policy and Law Enforcement, aiming to boost interest and expertise in this field.
CAK now invites qualified candidates to apply for the 2024 programme.
Eligibility Criteria for the Competition Authority of Kenya Young Programme 2024
To qualify, candidates must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in Law, Economics, or a Business-related field from a recognized university and must be under 35 years of age.
Terms and Conditions
CAK offers successful candidates a one-year training contract with a monthly stipend. By the end of the programme, you must submit a paper on Competition Policy and Law to receive a certificate. CAK may consider top-performing participants for permanent roles, depending on vacancy availability.

- Kenya Revenue Authority
- Higher Education Loans Board
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
- Directorate of Criminal Investigation
- Credit Reference Bureau
