To be considered for the Total Undergraduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be registered as full-time undergraduate students in recognized Nigerian universities.
• Be certified 100 or 200 level students at the time of application.
• Provide proof of their SSCE or equivalent certificate.
• Submit documents such as UTME scores, admission letters, and matriculation numbers.

Important Note:
The following categories of students are not eligible to apply:

• Students in 300 level or above.
• Current beneficiaries of similar scholarships from other organizations or agencies.

About the Total Scholarship Exam

The Total Scholarship Exam, conducted by WAEC, is usually held at six centers across Nigeria. While the exam is open to shortlisted candidates, many students mistakenly believe that anyone who applies can write the test.

This misconception often leads to a large number of students showing up at the exam centers, only to discover their names are not on the list of shortlisted candidates. To avoid disappointment, ensure you receive an official email confirming your shortlist before traveling to the exam center.

Total Scholarship Exam Format and Content

The Total Undergraduate Scholarship Aptitude Test is WAEC-based and consists of three key sections:

• Logical Reasoning
• Quantitative Reasoning
• Verbal Reasoning, Analogies, and Arithmetic

The test is time-bound, lasting 80 minutes. Success depends on familiarity with the question patterns and consistent practice. Without preparation, candidates may spend up to 20 minutes just trying to understand the exam format, leaving limited time to answer questions effectively.
