Yaba College of Technology was established in 1947 as a successor of Yaba Higher College. Below are some of the basic things to note as far ass the YABATECH Post UTME application is concerned;

  1. Age: Applicants are expected to not be less than 16 years of age at the time of filling the application form. This is a core requirement for the Post Utme application and so, candidates who do not this meet this age requirement might not be end up getting admission into the institution.
  2. JAMB Subject Combination: Candidates are expected to have written the correct JAMB subject combination for their preferred course as specified by YABATECH. It is important to note that YABATECH will not admit candidates with incorrect or incomplete JAMB subject combinations.   3. SSCE Subject Combination: The SSCE subject combination is another vital requirement for securing admission at YABATECH. All aspirants are expected to have obtained the required SSCE subject combination for their preferred course in order to be considered for admission.

In addition, combining two different results from two sitting is accepted if you do not have all the required subjects in a single sitting. YABATECH accepts a combination of the following SSCE results;

  • Two WAEC results from different years.
  • Two NECO results from different years.
  • WAEC SSCE and NECO SSCE results.
  • WAEC GCE and NECO SSCE results.
  • WAEC GCE and NECO GCE results.
  • Two NABTEB results from different years.
  • NABTEB May/June and NABTEB November/December results.
  • YABATECH does not accept a combination of NABTEB with any WAEC or NECO results.

Please note that your names on the results you are combining must be same and arranged the same way.

  1. First Choice in JAMB: Candidates who selected YABATECH as their second choice of institution will not be allowed to purchase the YABATECH Post UTME screening form. If you chose YABATECH as your second choice, you can proceed to purchase the JAMB change of institution form and select YABATECH as your first choice institution.

The earlier you effect these changes, the better, as it takes some time for the changes to reflect.

  1. Upload of O’level Results to JAMB CAPS: Candidates who applied with an awaiting result must do well to upload their results to JAMB CAPS immediately the result is released.
  • Additionally, candidates who are applying for the YABATECH post-UTME screening form with two sittings must upload the two results to JAMB CAPS. O’level results play a crucial role in the admission process.
  • Also note that these facts/requirements for the YABATECH Post Utme application can change from time to time.

Applicants Must Note the Following

  1. Candidates are advised to provide correct data on the portal as they will be responsible for any error entered during the registration and any wrong information given on JAMB and O’Level details will disqualify the candidate.
  2. Inconsistency in name or picture on photo card will not be accepted by the institution and such candidates stand a chance of being disqualified. Candidates’ name on their O’ Level Certificates, UTME results and other registration documents must be the same.

Method of Application for YABATECH Post UTME

  1. Kindly visit YABATECH admission portal HERE
  2. Locate and click on the Post UTME registration link.
  3. Fill the application form with the required details and create a profile.
  4. Generate a payment invoice.
  5. You can choose to complete the payment process using any of the payment options that is available to you on the portal.
  6. Complete the registration process and proceed to print out your Post UTME registration slip.
