CFA Exam in Nigeria – What you should know

Overview of the CFA certification exam:

The CFA program comprise of three exams levels – and is offered annually with test centres around the world in June and December. Only level 1 is offered in December; The levels are summarized as below

Level I (emphasizes tools and inputs, and includes an introduction to asset valuation, financial reporting and analysis, and portfolio management techniques.)
Level II (emphasizes asset valuation, and includes applications of the tools and inputs in asset valuation.
Level III (emphasizes portfolio management, and includes descriptions of strategies for applying the tools, inputs, and asset valuation models in managing equity, fixed income, and derivative investments for individuals and institutions.)

How to Register for CFA

First, to enrol for the exam, you need to register for the first level and you must have:

1. An International Passport
2. Undergraduate Education or Working Experience or a combination of both.

Early registration – $650 (N250,000)
Standard registration – $930 (N350,000)
Late registration fee – $1380 (N500,000)
